As a Kingman Baby Photographer, it’s always so neat to see my newborns grow up, becoming a big sister/brother. Baby Ellis came to the Sweet Peas Photography studio at 25 days new, along with her big sister, Eisley, whom I also photographed as a newborn back in 2017.

Ellis’ mama gave me complete control over the color choices, which I love. I always love choosing colors for girls that are nonconventional and rarely chosen. I had just ordered a few new backdrops a couple months back, and was dying to use one of them. I was very excited to be able to finally use it!

I also really, really wanted to do a plaid, wintery setup with one of my favorite antique tins. Ellis started the session off being a little stinker, not wanting to be moved or touched. I was worried that I might not get her sleepy enough for the setup with the tin. But, mama gave her a really good feed, and then she was out like a light! 😉
