Flagstaff Baby Photographer | The Simon Family

As a Flagstaff Baby Photographer, I have a love/hate relationship with our summer monsoon season. I love all of the gorgeous wildflowers that the rain brings, but hate the unpredictability that sometimes comes with it. Thankfully though, the weather cooperated for us for the Simon family’s session in the Arizona wildflowers.

I have been visiting this field ever since my own kids were very young…since 2014. In those earlier years, it bloomed so beautifully every year. But, in the past few years, it’s really been hit or miss with it. Actually, the last time that this field really “showed off” for us was back in 2018. 2019 and 2020 were pretty much a bust, and it didn’t bloom well. This year, though? Oh my goodness!!! Talk about GORGEOUS!!!

Aurelia is at that age now where pictures can be a little difficult. They only want to explore, and aren’t the least bit interested in sitting, posing, and smiling..LOL. I’m a sucker for the more lifestyle portraits of them at this age anyway, though, so I just kept snapping away as she enjoyed exploring the world around her. I love how they all turned out!
