Poppies | Pitts Family | Kingman Photographer

The poppies were absolutely gorgeous this year!! It helped make up for the fact that the field I have been using since 2019 didn’t bloom last year. I got so many inquiries for sessions in the poppies this year. I actually had 3 sessions out there in one week! The Pitts family was one of them.

I have been photographing the Pitts family since late 2015, when I did maternity photos for Kelly when she was pregnant with their first born, Kaeson. Since then, I have taken their family photos each year, as well as newborn photos of each of their four boys. I’ve never seen a couple work so well together, like I have this husband and wife duo. They compliment each other so nicely, and no matter how chaotic or troublesome life is for them, they are able to come out stronger than before every time.

In the past couple of years, family photos have been thwarted with nasty weather that seems to pop up out of nowhere, or crabby kids who don’t want to smile and are irritated by the cold…LOL. Kelly and Aaron just roll with the punches, and Kelly has developed quite the sense of humor in the face of it all.
