Arizona Desert Session | Sutton Family | Kingman Photographer

The Arizona desert can be so pretty, especially in the springtime! When I was younger, I hated the scenery and landscape that Arizona had to offer. I longed for the green grass and trees everywhere. To be honest, I still kind of do, but as I’ve gotten older, I have come to appreciate the beauty that the Arizona desert has to offer.

The Sutton family is originally from Idaho, and when they moved here, they were looking for a photographer. At the time, they only had Holland and were pregnant with baby boy #2, Sterling, so she booked a newborn session with me. You can see some of that session HERE. When Sterling turned one, mama wanted some updated family pictures and wanted a desert landscape, which we are definitely not short on around these parts! 😉

I had recently tried out a new spot with one of my own kids, and instantly fell in love with it. Rocks, tall grasses, trees, cactus, and mountains in the background, to boot!! Seriously so dreamy! Check it out!
