Arizona’s Newborn and Sitter Sessions | Sweet Peas Photography

Baby Arizona came to see me for both her newborn and sitter sessions at the Sweet Peas Photography studio. Don’t you just love her name??

I have photographed her big sister, as well as her parents, several times before. I love when clients continue coming back to see me year after year, to document their growing family.

One of my most favorite newborn photos is from Arizona’s big sister’s newborn session. I love the pop of color in this setup, with the use of real fruit and foliage from my yard.

Little sister Arizona had so many features that were similar to her big sister. She was absolutely adorable! Mom requested that I do a pose that I also did for big sister’s session, and I was all too happy to do that for her. A lot of past clients have a certain pose that they like me to recreate with subsequent siblings.

Arizona was a little more “touchy” than big sister, so I wasn’t quite sure she would settle enough for us to get the shot. But, she eventually settled into it well enough for me to sneak a quick shot.

Family, parent, and sibling posing is included in all of my newborn sessions. It’s part of my workflow. So, when you book a newborn session with me, you get the full experience!

Arizona’s Mini Sitter Session

Did you know that I offer a discounted mini sitter session for all of my newborn clients? I do!! Arizona’s mama definitely took advantage of that great deal and booked hers.

Sitter sessions are best done when baby can sit up unsupported for at least a few minutes at a time. This age can be tricky. They also start crawling at this age. Sitter sessions are easier before they can start crawling away from you. Haha! I am always very flexible at scheduling my clients. I make sure to get them in at the perfect age, before they start crawling. I also have tons of cute girl outfits. I also have a few outfits for boys. These outfits are available for my clients to use for their sitter sessions. Both of the outfits you see here are part of my client closet.

Here are some adorable shots of Arizona during her mini sitter session. It was around the holidays, so we even used my Christmas mini setup for one of her setups.
