Kingman Arizona Newborn Photographer | A Firefighters Sweet Little Ember

I have had numerous firefighters as clients, some of them bringing their sweet newborns to me.  But, it has always been difficult to convince these new dads to bring their gear in to incorporate it into their little one’s newborn session, until I met the Mortensen family.

I was absolutely thrilled to hear that they were looking for a newborn photographer who would incorporate dad’s turnout gear and fire helmet into their session – I was definitely their girl!! 😉

I had wanted to try this type of shot ever since I had seen my mentor and friend, Nicole Smith Photography, post one just like it. (Side note…if you don’t follow her work already, you must! Her work is truly stunning!)

Thank you, Mortensen family, for trusting me and my vision – I love how it turned out!!

Ember was so cute and chunky, and how adorable is her name, too?!  I mean, really, her daddy couldn’t have thought up a more perfect and fitting name for her! <3

Ember came to me at 9 days new, and she definitely made me work, but lucky for her, she’s cute, so all was forgiven. 😉
