Kingman Newborn Photographer | Baby Harper

I’ve been taking pictures of this sweet family since the very beginning, which is always so humbling when clients keep choosing me as their Kingman Newborn Photographer. Baby Harper came to see me at 7 days new, and gave me quite a run for my money! She wasn’t too keen on wanting to sleep, and didn’t like being touched and posed much, either. My sessions can last anywhere between 2-4 hours because of this very reason. Most people don’t realize it, but baby is the one who runs the session. So, whenever they want to eat, we stop and let them eat. Whenever they are fussy, we work on soothing them. And, whenever they are awake, we just roll with it. We take as long as possible to give you a full gallery of beautiful images for you to choose from.

Now, on to the most adorable baby Harper…

We did this pose with big sister, Lynden, nearly 4 years ago. Both Lynden (on the left) and Harper (on the right) have three teachers in their family, with their grandma being one of them, so I really wanted to do this unique setup with them both. I’m a teacher, as well as my husband, and I wish I had one like this of my babies, because I just love how they turned out! <3
