Kingman Newborn Photographer | Baby Hazel

As a Kingman Newborn Photographer, it’s always such a humbling feeling when your clients come back to see you with their newest additions! That’s just what happened when baby Hazel came to see me at 13 days new! <3

The last time I saw this family, they had just had Romy, their first baby. Almost three years had passed since then, so I was pleasantly surprised when Shannda reached out to me, wanting to book a newborn session again. I immediately knew that I wanted to recreate a couple shots that we had done with big sister, Romy, when she was a newborn!

Romy’s “MeMaw” had made a quilt for me to use for Romy’s newborn session, so I definitely wanted to use that same quilt for little sister, Hazel’s, newborn session, too. Here’s a side by side comparison of Romy (on the right) and Hazel (on the left).

I also had to take Hazel outdoors for a picture in my flower garden, since I had taken Romy outside for a photo during her session, as well. I used the same bonnet in both pictures. Romy is on the left and Hazel is on the right in these shots….

Hazel was such a good baby for me, and didn’t poop or pee on anything! Plus, she slept the whole time! She was so curly, and curled up into this pose so perfectly for me, too. <3

I loved that Shannda wasn’t picky about the colors I chose, because I love to use blueish colors on baby girls, and will use it whenever I’m given the chance! 😉

Big sister Romy was such a good girl, which always helps to get amazing shots like this! I plan on getting this one printed big for my studio sometime soon! 🙂
