Kingman Newborn Photography isn’t always easy. In this profession, you have to have a lot of patience. Newborns don’t sleep on command, and sometimes it can be a real waiting game. Natalie’s session was just that.
She wasn’t the sleepiest baby, and was quite touchy, too. Whenever I touched her, she would move around and take time to settle back into a pose.
Most of my newborn sessions last just about 1.5 hours, but Natalie’s took almost 3 hours. I’ve only ever had that happen two (maybe three) times before, in the nearly 9 years that I have been doing this. I don’t mind the challenge, though, and just look at how beautiful and perfect she is!

This next image is a special one for the family, because both the bracelet and ring have been in the family for many years. The bracelet was a gift to Natalie’s mama, and the ring has actually seen 3 generations of girls, with Natalie being the fourth!

Congratulations, Thompson family!
