Kingman Newborn Photography | Baby Girl Casey | Sweet Peas Photography

Baby girl Casey came to my Kingman Newborn Photography studio at just a couple days shy of one month old! Since Casey was a preemie and born so early, I knew it would be okay to wait a little longer to get her in for her session.

Casey was just like all of the other 2021 babies I’ve seen thus far, in the way that she was touchy and did not want to be disturbed when she slept..LOL! She definitely protested a bit, but that is what is so hard about newborn photography. Patience is key, and I like to think I’m fairly patient….and, persistent! 😉

Casey’s story is a sad one, as she lost her twin brother during the pregnancy. I definitely wanted to do something to help honor and remember him, and I love how it turned out.

Also, I need to add that it is so important for mamas to get in the frames with their babies! Casey’s mama wasn’t going to do any pictures with just the two of them, but I’m so glad she changed her mind! She looked stunning! It is something that Casey will cherish when she is grown up and has babies of her own! <3
