Lynden Dawn {5 days new}

Fun fact about me: I was once an elementary school teacher.  I taught for about 7 years, before we had our fourth baby, and decided to stay home to take care of our two youngest, instead of forking over my whole paycheck to daycare every month.

So….when Lynden’s grandma came to me a few months ago to book a newborn session for her daughter, I got very excited.  Lynden’s grandma, great aunt, and great uncle are ALL teachers, so I knew right away that I wanted to do something teacher-y with Lynden’s session.

My mom is a teacher, as well, and has small collection of antique teacher items, including an old wooden desk, which I believe is from the early 1920’s, so I decided to use that as one of my props for Lynden’s session.

I also have always wanted to try an outdoor newborn session, as well, and Lynden’s mama was more than happy to allow me to do that.  I’m so glad we did, because the couple shots we did outdoors turned out amazing!!!

I had so many favorites from this session, so I will apologize now for newborn overload! 😉

    Oh my! These are beautiful. I love the desk pictures, but the outside ones are perfect. I love the one with the orange flowers. The one with the toes, sweet! Mom and baby are darling too. Beautiful work! Precious keepsakes!ReplyCancel
