My Life, Documented. {Kingman, AZ Photographer | Prescott, AZ Photographer}

Over the past 6 months, I have been on a quest to document my own life, with ME in it.

See, I got into this photography business like most other moms, just wanting to learn how to take better pictures of my own kids.  I used to think that an amazing image had to have an awesome background in order for it to be considered a decent image, but over the past year and a half, I have come to appreciate and enjoy lifestyle photography, and in the process, have become OBSESSED with it.

Maybe it’s because I want to remember exactly how our life is today.  I want to remember how little my kids were.  I want to remember what my house looked like, messes and all!  I want to remember what the day to day life looked like….what we did, how we interacted, and how we loved.

So, I started taking pictures of those moments.  I became a fly on the wall, obsessed over capturing those fleeting moments that we call ‘life’.

Awhile back, I stumbled across Katie Myrick Photography, and adored her Documented Photographer series that she had started, which catapulted my own version of it, which I like to call My Life, Documented.

I made my first post back in May, and have since continued to set up my tripod and capture myself in our daily lives.
