Baby Saylor came to my Kingman/Lake Havasu City Arizona Newborn Photography studio at 5 days new. It took her a bit to settle at first, and she really enjoyed being wrapped in the beginning of the session, before she totally crashed, allowing me to get through my normal workflow quite seamlessly.
Some of you may remember Saylor’s mama and daddy from a previous post on my blog, because I took their maternity pictures, as well. You can find that post HERE.
Saylor gave us quite a few smiles on camera (we got a total of 3, which is a lot!)…she was such a happy baby!
Usually at 5 days old, babies are quite jaundiced, and even after spending time under the lights, their color is still a little yellow, because they are so brand new, but I was surprised to see that Saylor’s skin tone was actually pretty perfect, and it made my job of editing so much easier!
Mama really wanted a breastfeeding shot, which I had never been asked to do before, so I was thrilled to be able to capture it for her. I am obsessed with how it turned out, too! <3
