One of my family’s favorite things to do during the summer is head to Williams, AZ, where it’s cooler and the scenery is beautiful and peaceful, and go camping. Each summer, usually around the end of July to the end of August, their fields come into full bloom with gorgeous wildflowers. I am a huge sucker for wildflowers, and have always wanted to hold Wildflower Minis, so this year I decided to start offering them.
Williams is not too terribly far from Kingman, for someone who really enjoys road trips and driving (yep, that would be me! 😉 ), and I was so happy to book so many amazing families for these beautiful mini sessions.
My friend, Kelly, brought her kids down for my very last scheduled mini, and since she is a dear friend of mine, I brought my own children with me for that one, to sneak a few pictures of my own crazy clan, after hers was finished.
I asked Kelly if she wouldn’t mind trying to get a shot of myself with all of my babies, and she happily obliged. I didn’t expect anything to turn out, because my kiddos are quite the crazy bunch and don’t participate very well for pictures, but she was able to get one! Yay!!! As soon as I got it from her, I couldn’t wait to edit it!
Here is the before shot that Kelly took for me….
And, here is my edit on it…
I am not in many pictures with my kids, so this is going to be a treasured image for years to come. Thank you again, Kelly, for being willing to help me out with it! 🙂
